Thank you to our many chefs and restaurants, volunteers, and attendees for making this years Taste of the Nation another successful fundraiser in the fight to end childhood hunger.
Share Our Strength’s Taste of the Nation is Ithaca’s most prestigious food and wine event with the goal help end childhood hunger in our community. More than 400 guests attended the event, and over $39,000 was raised for organizations that work most effectively to fight childhood hunger in Ithaca, surrounding counties and across New York State. These funds will be granted to Loaves and Fishes, The Learning Web’s Youth Outreach Program, The Food Bank of the Southern Tier Backpack Program and Cornell Cooperative Extension CSA Farm Share Program.
