Update: Share Our Strength’s Room Block is Closed!

The Renaissance is currently sold out on Sunday, Oct. 16th, and will likely sell out on other Conference nights as well. If you still need to book your accommodations, there are several hotels in the area that currently have rooms available, although they are expected to sell out as well. All are within walking distance of the Renaissance, and have comparable room rates:

Travel

The Baltimore/Washington International Airport - BWI is the closest airport to the hotel:

8 miles from the Renaissance
Via cab for approximately $30.00 one way
Via Super Shuttle for approximately $13.00 one way (reservations required)
Via train on Amtrak, Regional Rail - MARC (weekdays only) or Light Rail to downtown Baltimore and then a short cab ride to the hotel

Please note: the 2011 Baltimore Marathon will be taking place in downtown Baltimore on Saturday, October 15th, so please plan your travel into the city accordingly. The 2011 Marathon course map and road closures are not yet available but based on last year’s course, we suggest you take these routes into the city:

Weather

Temperatures in Baltimore in mid-October can range from 46-66°F; we suggest that you bring clothes that can be easily layered and check the local weather before your trip.
