The New Mexico Summer Meals Challenge, developed by the New Mexico Collaboration to End Hunger and Dairy Max, has officially launched. Adapted from the NFL’s Fuel Up to Play 60 and Action for Healthy Kids ReCharge! curriculum, the Summer Challenge is centered around both nutrition education and physical activity, as studies indicate that children who face hunger are more susceptible to obesity.
