My work with Rachael Ray’s Yum-o!® organization opens the door to some pretty extraordinary experiences in what are sometimes not-so-ordinary circumstances. Some of these experiences have been in conjunction with Share Our Strength, one of Yum-o!’s national partners that we collaborate with as part of the “Feed” component of our mission. In particular, I’ve participated in two of their Hinges of Hope tours – one in New Orleans and the other in New York City – both times affording me the opportunity to see first-hand the work they do to fight hunger. Not only were these experiences eye-opening, but both times I sat down with Rachael Ray immediately afterwards to share more about this work.
