Last week officially kicked off the Summer Meals Road Trip. I went back to one of my favorite places from my childhood – Orlando, Florida – home to Disney World. Lot of happy memories from my family’s summer vacations there – the 3D hilarity of the Muppets, feeling motion sick on the Star Wars ride, getting to meet the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and the thrill of jetting down the water slides at Typhoon Lagoon. Unfortunately, those kinds of carefree memories aren’t the frame of reference for far too many kids in Florida.
