6 Faces of Hunger

Palms for Life hosted a film contest this year calling for short film entries that capture faces of hunger in America. The finalist films are titled: The Popeye Project, 3 Days of Hunger, Faces Overlooked, Unknown Struggle, Food For Thought and Faces of Hunger- Crying. So far there have been 58,000 online views and over 30,000 votes.
On Monday, December 21st, the 6 shorts will be screened in Battery Park in New York city and three finalists will be selected.
Palms for Life Fund will offer the top three winners cash prizes of:
- 1st: $5,000
- 2nd: $3,500
- 3rd: $1,500
